Abu Dhabi developer to build AED 1bn Emaar townhouses

Have you ever wondered if property developers based in the UAE capital ever operate in Dubai? It seems they do and most operation happen to be huge. In this regard, Abu Dhabi-based Trojan General Contracting (TGC) has announced starting work on a new project in Dubai soon.

The TGC recently announced that it had won an AED 1 billion ($272 million) contract to build the Mira Oasis townhouses in the second phase of Reem, an immaculately planned neighbourhood.

With the backing of Emaar Properties, Reem has become a renowned high-end residential project that includes unique features like a desert botanical park, dune buggies, sand surfing and camel riding trails, rock climbing wall, go karting track, cricket pitch, soccer field and a skate park.

The development, located near the Arabian Ranches in Dubai, also has a central park that comes with some of its own entertaining features. The park has interactive fountains, walkways and a water feature which adds to the beauty of the area.

Construction work on the Mira Oasis Townhouses has been initiated this month and is slated for inauguration by the end of 2018.

Trojan Holding Managing Director Hamad Al Ameri said, “The prestigious Mira Oasis townhouses project in Reem will see TGC to new heights as we enter the next phase of growth led by our company’s vision. Mira Oasis will bring unprecedented economic pre-eminence to the real estate market, and we are proud to be part of a project that will further strengthen the property sector.”

The second phase of the Mira Oasis community will have 1,393 units in total featuring 3 to 4 bedroom homes.

Al Ameri said, “Being awarded this development demonstrates our ability to deliver superior developments with the support of our employees that have the proven ability to succeed.”

According to TGC, the company is the exclusive contractor for the project where it would also ensure the involvement of Trojan Holding’s seven specialized subsidiaries in different stages of the project.

The new development will be built in three stages. Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in December 2017, phase 2 in September 2018 and phase 3 in December 2018 respectively.

Other noteworthy projects undertaken by TGC include the Palm Tower in Dubai and Hydra Avenue towers, Hydra Village, and Horizon Towers in Abu Dhabi.
